In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms or conventions of real media products?

• My media product shows the typical convetions for example a bar code master head, mainhead line, issue number and date and also a central image. With these on the cover of my magzine you can easly reconise that it is a magzine. The format follows the no,al conventions of a typical magzine.

How does you media product repersent particular social groups?

• My magzine repersents the social group by show the articals inside are related to the school istitution. The central image is of a teacher so it is stated that the magzine repersents the school.

What kind of media institution might distibute your media product and why?

• The media institution that i would distribute to the school. They would sell this magizine because it involves information and articals about the school.

Who would be the audience for your media product?

• The audience for my Magzine is for sixth formers as the style is more related to a gig style and its more modern, stylish and the font is divlit, which is a modern font from dafont.com.

How did you attract/address your audience?

• I attracted my audience by having a bold, attractive font witch has a funky graphic in it crated on paint.net. the style is apealing because the colours fit the chew valleys crest

What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

• The technoligies that i have used in creating this are photoshop and paint.net. i have learnt the basic outline of the frount of a magzine.

Looking back at yor prelimary task, what do you feel you have leart in the progression from the full product?

• Looking back at my magizine i think that my prelimary task was a good start, the design was good but the final prodct didnt fit the flat plan exactly. But i feel that i can improve when i do my main task.

Print task
Using DTP(desktop publisher) and a image manipulation program, produce the front page of a new school magazine, featuring a photo of a student in medium close-up some appropriate layed out text and a master head. Additionaly canidads must produce a DTP mock-up layout of the contents page to demonstrate their grasp of the program.
Video task
Contiuity task involving filming and editing a character opening a door crossing a room sitting down in a chair opposite another character, with whom he/she exchanges a couple words of dialogue. This task should demonstrate match of action, shot/ reverse shot and the 180 degree rule.

Music

I do like a range of music, but if i had to pick a range it would be hip-hop/R&B. My favorite artists are Black eyed peas. There latest album is awsome "The E.N.D"And i Also Dizzee Rascal. With his new album Tounge n' Cheek. That is good to.

I like to watch cartoons like Futurama, the Simpsons and The Grim adventures of Billy and mandy, also i like watch balls of steell, jackass and dirty sanches. Also like to watch gameshows such as mock the week and never mind the buzzcocks. I also like to watch music channels such as 4music and TMF

Lit fest logo design

We were given a task to presentate our thoughts and design of what the logo, flyers, slogan and posters should look like for the up coming lit-festival.

This is the logo we created for our lit-fest presentaion, a simple design with the lit fest font design like a stamp. For this presentation i was in a group of 3, Me, charlie and Adam. I think that our presentaion was a bit basic but ok.I think that our strongest piece of the presentation was the logo. The logo was created on a program called paint.net and the chew valley font was drwn on flash player.

I thought that izzy,s and beth's presentation was the best because of its cartoon image of April and will. Overall it was a good presentation
